日本えお帰りしよう !! (nihon e okaeri shiyou)

Well its official... I am planning to move to japan to live.

Its a feeling i have had for quite some time, i was prepared to leave in december 2008, but i met Shan and we had a serious relationship, so i put off moving for obvious reasons. Anywhoo now Shan and i have been living together for quite some time now, and i just can't shake that feeling of wanting to escape the RUDE and DANGEROUS and POORLY THOUGHT OUT country that is australia.

I am not alone in this feeling either, my good friend Aiko is planning to move back to japan, and also close friend Tsuyoshi plans to move back to Okinawa in the future.
I think that japanese living outside of japan who have lived inside of Japan for part of the life, they miss japan and hate the country they live in.

Every NIKKEIJIN (japanese living out of japan) who i speak with seems to feel this. My non-Japanese friends sometimes tell me how "great" australia is, but the reality is that they have not been to another FIRST WORLD COUNTRY... I feel that one you go outside of australia and visit any other first world country, that you will see how lacking australia is.

Another thing i am worried about is the SHIT australian economy that devalues itself every year due to poor managemnent and other issues that i will not go on about. Couple that with a MASSIVELY increaing crime rate and the fact that australians are getting more irritable ever year, as well as dumber (as in less educated), and bang... what's a fucking shit country with no future !!

Anywhoo, I have 3 weeks in japan, and in that time i plan to look at all my future options as well as having fun. I am no longer a Japanese citizen, so when i return from japan i have to have a VERY GOOD THINK about my future options in the country as far as working visas and eventually gaining a japanese citizenship.... I have a lot of stress on my plate at the moment, as japan is the hardest country in the world to get working visas and eventually citizenship.

It seems i can do a working holiday visa easily, but that only lasts for one year, and i do not think it can be extended, so my best outcome is to get a japanese working visa and keep extending it each year... but it seems that to geta japanese working visa i must have a degree in anything. maybe i will do a TAFE course for one year to get a degree... but the hassel is that i have to ENDURE another year of hell in australia, maybe there is some way that i can do the working holiday in japan and do a tafe course by distance education, that way i dont have to live in this HELL ON EARTH AUSTRALIA for too long. sigh... so much stress, but it will all be worth it to once again live in my HOME COUNTRY...

Budget for Japan

Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11:35 PM

Well the trip to japan is such short notice for me, so budgeting is a rather big problem at times.

Im cutting corners like crazy in an attempt to save as much money as i can LOL.

At the moment i am just working 4 days per week, so i have less money to play around with compared to in the past, as well as more expenses... GG.

How exactly am i cutting corners, well, anything i contemplate buying here in australia, i just say to myself "oh that coke im about to buy, i would enjoy it 10 times more if i drank it in japan". so that way i am able to stop myself from buying everything except for life essentials.

pretty good way of thinking, ne ??

Often i feel the urge to just stalk the wangan in a modified GT-R.

Sell my AE86 Trueno and MR2 here in australia and permenantly head over to japan to live, sometimes it would be so much easier and less turbulant than the up and down life that I live here -__-;

i like THE "jasting"... ???

Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 2:02 AM

Justin Chong = THE "jasting".

long story short, but due to poor english Kevin "likes THE jasting"

Kevin has met justin when he came to melbourne, and I shown Kevin a photo of casey (who is not as cool), to which kevin replied "oh i like the jasting".....

Anywhoo, lately life has been full of crazy ups and downs, so once again i have neglected to write blogs.

Just dropping by to write a short blog to state that "THE jasting" and I have booked tickets to JAPAN and will be heading back soon for about a month stay.

more news as it happens.

byebye fatty worst resident !!!

thats right, number 4 has moved.

I found number four to be a rather bad resident at our building. Not only did he crash into my parked car, but the amount of difficulty it taken to get his bully company to pay the insurance, but also the fact that he has no sicial skills what-so-ever.... He is one of the people i ramble on about a lot "aged 25 to 55 and has no idea of common sence, common decency, social skills, and knows nothing about the world besides what they hear from the mass media"

Last week he left the building after a period of absense, and this week a new resident has moved in.

just a little interesting trivia for the the non Japanese and non Chinese people who may read my blog, but here is some infromation about the number 4.

In East Asia, some buildings do not have a 4th floor. (Compare with the American practice of some buildings not having a 13th floor because 13 is considered unlucky.) In Hong Kong, some high-rise residential buildings miss ALL floor numbers with "4", e.g. 4, 14, 24, 34 and all 40-49 floors. As a result, a building whose highest floor is number 50 may actually have only 36 physical floors.

In Singapore during the early 2000s, Alfa Romeo introduced a new model, the 144. Nobody bought it, so they had to change the model number.

Im just hoping that the new number four is a decent resident.

Curry Fried Rice

Oh how I love curry fried rice.

Its a dish that I had at Jun and Kevins house, the restaurant owners cook food for them each night (like REAL cantonese foods, not the ones served on the menu there) and one of the foods they make for them is an amazingly tasty curry fried rice.

Anywhoo, just thought I would share info about this simple but tasty dish that I enjoy.
