taxi situation.

Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 12:01 AM

ok so the failboat taxi that crashed into me was charged with the accident !
2 fines totalling over 600 dollars and 5 demerit points... OWNED... the police member actually said the indian CRIED... haha humiliated.

now that hes charged, hes prove AT FAULT for the accident... owned.

anywhoo i gave him the repair bill ... AGAIN... and he says "i dont feel i should have to pay to fix your car" ... WHAT THE FCUK ? ... you broke it you bought it, fucking nigger. lol.

so i have to take him to court. if he just cooperated, i wouldnt have reported to police. he would have had to pay 2800 to fix my car... now he had over 600 in fines, lost FIVE demerit points, and will have to pay 2800 and will have to pay court costs !!

but i have to deal with lawyers and court dates, just before my holiday to japan. i have also had to put off moving to japan due to all this.

everything "needs work"

Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 6:05 PM

last night whilst driving, i decided just "for fun" to take a different route driving to Shans cousins house. to my surprise, on the new different way, i came acros... AKUMA NO ZETTO... well kind of, its not a s30 240z, but rather a 260z (pretty much the exact same car excepet for a slightly different pillar design to accomodate 4 seats)... seeing the rusted out and poorly maintained ZETTO made me realise something....

Why does everything "need work" at the moment.

the s30z 260z in this photo needs work, my trueno needs work, my job needs work, my life situation (which country i will live in) needs work, and now my relationship needs work. well i guess for a few months my relationship has needed work, but last night definetly shown that.

at the moment is a very unstable time, a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up i guess.

i end this blog on a some-what confusing note... everything needs work, just work hard at that i guess...... can the zetto be restored ?? (by the way, its a metaphore when i said zetto just then)

untill then, photos of the Zetto.

Wangan Midnight SOON !!

Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 6:03 PM

To put things on a good note, i cant wait to watch WANGAN MIDNIGHT movie when i arrive in japan. Very excited indeed !!

blog fail number two / SHOURI

at 5:06 PM

well once again, a blog fail. i have not posted for quite some time due to high levels of stress.

a stupid indian taxi driver has crashed into my car a month before going to japan... plenty of time to get it sorted out, right ? .... no ! not at all.

this guy has given me so many fake details i cant contact him. the address and phone number are fake, and he has made NO effort to contact me. police have been fucking useless in this case. although now i have pulled one last offence, a favour from a close family friend who will help me take this as far as it can go.

i feel stressed but some relief. as we now have his real address, and today im conatcing the police to demand they get the taxi owners address from silvertop taxi company... once this is done we will send a letter of demand. if the owner or the driver dont pay up, then we will take them to court. and my dad will personaly fly to melbourne to help me get my revenge (in a few ways).

no use hiding is there ? if we hide, its only a matter of time untill we are found. that is the moral of this story.

名誉の勝負 ~~ しょうりをおさめる !!!

日本えお帰りしよう !! (nihon e okaeri shiyou)

Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 8:19 PM

Well its official... I am planning to move to japan to live.

Its a feeling i have had for quite some time, i was prepared to leave in december 2008, but i met Shan and we had a serious relationship, so i put off moving for obvious reasons. Anywhoo now Shan and i have been living together for quite some time now, and i just can't shake that feeling of wanting to escape the RUDE and DANGEROUS and POORLY THOUGHT OUT country that is australia.

I am not alone in this feeling either, my good friend Aiko is planning to move back to japan, and also close friend Tsuyoshi plans to move back to Okinawa in the future.
I think that japanese living outside of japan who have lived inside of Japan for part of the life, they miss japan and hate the country they live in.

Every NIKKEIJIN (japanese living out of japan) who i speak with seems to feel this. My non-Japanese friends sometimes tell me how "great" australia is, but the reality is that they have not been to another FIRST WORLD COUNTRY... I feel that one you go outside of australia and visit any other first world country, that you will see how lacking australia is.

Another thing i am worried about is the SHIT australian economy that devalues itself every year due to poor managemnent and other issues that i will not go on about. Couple that with a MASSIVELY increaing crime rate and the fact that australians are getting more irritable ever year, as well as dumber (as in less educated), and bang... what's a fucking shit country with no future !!

Anywhoo, I have 3 weeks in japan, and in that time i plan to look at all my future options as well as having fun. I am no longer a Japanese citizen, so when i return from japan i have to have a VERY GOOD THINK about my future options in the country as far as working visas and eventually gaining a japanese citizenship.... I have a lot of stress on my plate at the moment, as japan is the hardest country in the world to get working visas and eventually citizenship.

It seems i can do a working holiday visa easily, but that only lasts for one year, and i do not think it can be extended, so my best outcome is to get a japanese working visa and keep extending it each year... but it seems that to geta japanese working visa i must have a degree in anything. maybe i will do a TAFE course for one year to get a degree... but the hassel is that i have to ENDURE another year of hell in australia, maybe there is some way that i can do the working holiday in japan and do a tafe course by distance education, that way i dont have to live in this HELL ON EARTH AUSTRALIA for too long. sigh... so much stress, but it will all be worth it to once again live in my HOME COUNTRY...

Budget for Japan

Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11:35 PM

Well the trip to japan is such short notice for me, so budgeting is a rather big problem at times.

Im cutting corners like crazy in an attempt to save as much money as i can LOL.

At the moment i am just working 4 days per week, so i have less money to play around with compared to in the past, as well as more expenses... GG.

How exactly am i cutting corners, well, anything i contemplate buying here in australia, i just say to myself "oh that coke im about to buy, i would enjoy it 10 times more if i drank it in japan". so that way i am able to stop myself from buying everything except for life essentials.

pretty good way of thinking, ne ??

(i need it)
at 2:15 AM

Often i feel the urge to just stalk the wangan in a modified GT-R.

Sell my AE86 Trueno and MR2 here in australia and permenantly head over to japan to live, sometimes it would be so much easier and less turbulant than the up and down life that I live here -__-;

i like THE "jasting"... ???

Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 2:02 AM

Justin Chong = THE "jasting".

long story short, but due to poor english Kevin "likes THE jasting"

Kevin has met justin when he came to melbourne, and I shown Kevin a photo of casey (who is not as cool), to which kevin replied "oh i like the jasting".....

Anywhoo, lately life has been full of crazy ups and downs, so once again i have neglected to write blogs.

Just dropping by to write a short blog to state that "THE jasting" and I have booked tickets to JAPAN and will be heading back soon for about a month stay.

more news as it happens.

byebye fatty worst resident !!!

thats right, number 4 has moved.

I found number four to be a rather bad resident at our building. Not only did he crash into my parked car, but the amount of difficulty it taken to get his bully company to pay the insurance, but also the fact that he has no sicial skills what-so-ever.... He is one of the people i ramble on about a lot "aged 25 to 55 and has no idea of common sence, common decency, social skills, and knows nothing about the world besides what they hear from the mass media"

Last week he left the building after a period of absense, and this week a new resident has moved in.

just a little interesting trivia for the the non Japanese and non Chinese people who may read my blog, but here is some infromation about the number 4.

In East Asia, some buildings do not have a 4th floor. (Compare with the American practice of some buildings not having a 13th floor because 13 is considered unlucky.) In Hong Kong, some high-rise residential buildings miss ALL floor numbers with "4", e.g. 4, 14, 24, 34 and all 40-49 floors. As a result, a building whose highest floor is number 50 may actually have only 36 physical floors.

In Singapore during the early 2000s, Alfa Romeo introduced a new model, the 144. Nobody bought it, so they had to change the model number.

Im just hoping that the new number four is a decent resident.

Curry Fried Rice

Monday, August 3, 2009 at 4:07 AM

Oh how I love curry fried rice.

Its a dish that I had at Jun and Kevins house, the restaurant owners cook food for them each night (like REAL cantonese foods, not the ones served on the menu there) and one of the foods they make for them is an amazingly tasty curry fried rice.

Anywhoo, just thought I would share info about this simple but tasty dish that I enjoy.

Blackbird ??

Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 7:20 AM

On the topic of Wangan Midnight recently (me talking about wanting a highway fast car) I thought I would bring more of this topic.

Pretty recently i spotted this black porsche GT2 not far from home.... Reminds me of the "Blackbird" porsche turbo Driven by Shima Tatsuya.

Interesting Find

Friday, July 24, 2009 at 11:05 PM

Whilst cleaning out some old things, Shan and I found this... Her old school inuform from primary school, before she came to australia.

Pretty Nostalgic if you ask me.

SPEED

Monday, July 20, 2009 at 10:45 PM

I enjoy playing around on the streets in my AW11 toyota MR2. The body is compact and light weight with a short wheelbase and most importantly is Mid Engined (engine sits behind the driver), so the mr2 handles amazingly well on the streets.... without wanting to sound pretentious, i am very confident that this mr2 that i own handles just as good as many ferraris. Breaking is also a strong point of my MR2, its very good at it. Acceleration wise, its decent.

Acceleration wise, back in the 1980s it was a very fast car. But nowdays it leaves a lot to be desired as other cars have become more powerful.

Yesterday i played around a little. I saw a new holden astra VXR (2.0l turbo hot hatch that is blisteringly fast), it was playing around and having fun on the road. after a couple of corners i got close to it, and then we approached a 3 lane roundabout that leaves a choice of many cornering lines.

I approached and by the time we exited the roundabout, i was sitting right on his rear bumper... a win for me. then on the entrance to the freeway, he floored the accelerator and after noticing he did, I also floored it. Its amazingly smooth turbo engine had the torque to just pull away from me with so much ease..... I was OWNED (in terms of power) but won in terms of handling.

I came to realize that MR2 is great for playing around on suburban streets and in mountain pass (touge), but once it becomes a high speed stage (highway) the AW11 has no chance).

Now i am looking at getting a SAISOKU (top speed) type of car to have fun in. Co-incidently i have just started watching WANGAN MIDNIGHT a few days before this event taken place.

An S30z with L28KAI would be nice.

Skate Photography

Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 8:28 PM

On Tuesday I spoke with my Friend Johnny Yang and the topic of Skateboarding came up. You see, Johnny is a very skilled photographer who always enjoys taking photos to improve his own techniques and portfolio of excelent photos.

A true master of not only taking photos, but editiing them to look outstanding, he just has such a tallent !

We decided to go skateboarding and take some action photos.
I was very poorly at skateboarding, as i have only do it two times in the last FOUR YEARS !!

Getting back on the board, I was pretty average, but not too bad at skateboarding, but now i realised i am so unfit and the excercise really tired me out... The next day my legs were so painful LOL.

I really need to start exercising again.

Omedeto Tanjoubi Gozaimasu wo de nu peng you !

A little late adding this blog entry due to my recent stress, but here it is.

The highlight of July is the fourth day, my girlfriend Shan's birthday !

We went shopping and to crown casino and then for dinner at melbournes best japanese restaurant.

For our meal we had stone cooked beef steaks. Entrees included Wagyu Tataki, Tori no Tatsuta Age, Tenpura vegetables and prawns, Oyster.

Photos are below...

Japanese Hip-hop and rap is number 1 !

Monday, July 13, 2009 at 9:56 PM

MC HIME is a Japanese rapper that i am very fond of.

Her music is powerful and lyrics are meaningful.

Compared to American rap, the style is so different, we dont sing about guns and "fucking a bitch, or bitches"... japanese rap is politically minded. Hime often sings about equality of women in japan and other interesting issues.

When listening to Hime song Tateba shakuyaku i can feel its a blend of hop-hop and japanese poetry.

A truely great artist and representitive of japans urban culture.

Here is a couple more videos of other J-hiphop

Japanese hi-hop is turely number one !!

BLOG FAILURE

Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 6:42 AM

I dont use the word FAIL, and usually i look down apon people who do uese it by calling them "idiots who jump on a bandwagon to be E-cool on the internet"

Anywhoo, I present to you.... BLOG FAIL.

Initial D Arcade Stage

Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 2:33 AM

Lately has been pretty busy and stressful, so it was great to go out and relax today.

I bought more INUTAMA (mentioned in a previous blog) and Shan and I went out shopping and eating over in Glen Waverly.

During our time there, it was great to relax by playing Initial D arcade game and teaching Shan about it... Whilst realising how out or practice I was ^_^

my Thoughts on Type R

Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 2:53 AM

Type R is a philosphy that Honda HAD (not HAS, thats right HAD) perfected once apon a time.

As you SHOULD know, Honda is one of the best naturally aspirated engine manurfacturers of all time.

B16a, B18c, K20a, F20c..... that is all i have to say... If you dont know my meaning, then please research these engines to understand just how good Honda is.

Basically VTEC allows good low end torque and amazing high end horsepower. The 4 engines I mentioned before all make more than 100ps per litre of capacity, yet are amazingly streetable and fun to drive everyday.

Having owned a Type R DC2 Ingegra in the past, I am lucky enough to have tried one first hand and know the marvel of a true Type R.

Now my dilema is that I want a comfortable yet hardcore sports car that i can drive everyday.

My Trueno oversteers too much and understeers too much, yet has good power for a 1.6l engine (still a 4age engine is not as drivable as a Honda B16a).

My MR2 is the best handling car i have ever driven. The MR2 stops amazingly well also.... But its main problem is it lacks power compared to the Type R integra and civics, and even my ae86 trueno.

I am now looking to get a nice daily Type R DC2 again.... maybe even a civic SI-R, as long as it has a b18c transplant mind you.

Looks like my Sporty mind is shifting back to Type R as it is the perfect balanced car for every day life.

いぬたま !!

Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 2:41 AM

pucchi... its kind of old and so so to me now... lol.... Shan and I were crazy about collecting them.. for like a week... lol.

pretty recently (2 weeks ago) in the city, we saw these INUTAMA (INU TAMAGO, or DOG EGG in english) sold in 自動販売機 (jidō hanbaiki) at 2 dollars per egg (really only 100yen in japan) the price is A LOT cheaper than Pucchi, so i gave it shot.

The little dogs are so cute and can be used as key chains or whatever you want, the only limit is your own mind !

After 5 attempts, we recieved 2 dark tan color dogs, 2 orange dogs and one pink dog.... pretty so so. Today whilst grocery shopping we saw another machine, this time i was in awe to see that i recieved the Blue dog i wanted so much. ha ha, VICTORY !! ... i tried again and got the light tan dog, so another new one.

Not many dogs to go to complete the collection now.

Review of Shabu Shabu restaurant

Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 4:17 AM

Not long ago Shan and I went out for Hotpot at SHABU SHABU Hoptpot restaurant on Lonsdale Street in the CBD.

$25 per person for all you can eat hotpot, a pretty good deal isnt it ??.... Well...

...All you can eat in 1.5 hours that is... Still plenty time to eat a lot of food, but the only downside is it feels a little rushed.

Having only 1.5 hours to eat also has the downside that there is no "sitting and relaxing after eating time" that i oh so much enjoy at a good restaurant.

We basically eaten and by the time we finished, we had to leave.

That aside, it was a great restaurant and pretty fun, so we will be returning very soon.

Healthy Winter

Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 7:58 AM

I really think Kimchi is a great winter food, it is tasty AND good for you !

Kimchi is made of fermented cabbage and chilli and other things.

In Korea the ingredients vary depending on the time of year it is made at.

At home this winter I plan on making Kimchi Bokkembap (kimchi fried rice) for Shan !

"i want to be a good man"

Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 12:12 AM

Today I realized I would like to become a police.

I want to take part in reducing the amount of idiots in our society.

Trueno Progress

Friday, June 12, 2009 at 4:48 AM

not too far off now... all the hard work 90% of the hard work has been done.

The suspension has been fixed. Damage to the front lower control arm made steering impossible, now its just as new.

Brake booster was shit, now it has been replaced with a brand new one i bought from toyota.

Panel damage to the front guard is fixed and the rear section was cut out and replaced with a new section from a poverty spec ae86 levin SR, both sections are now awaiting paint.

then the final challange is.... the engine has been detuned to about 160PS to be easier to drive on the streets, and also to pass emissions testing by the EPA.

last hurdle is to pass EPA testing, then i can register it again... im just so excited again !

der piao der piao, der yi de piao !!

Pucchi !

Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 2:09 AM

Pucchi !

its popular in japan because these detailed food models are so cheap and fun.

here in australia they are so expensive (au$12.50 per item!!!) so they are not really as collectable due to the costs.

Shan and I were addicted to them at one stage.... now we are over them... Pu - what ??

purchases number 2 and 3

Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 5:15 AM

Finally some new shoes !

lol. Now days im pretty reluctant to spend money on myself, due to having more expenses in life and also earning a bit less money, so my shoe habbit died off.

Even worse, i was down to 2 pairs of shoes, one in VERY below average (to put it nicely) condition, and one pair starting to be a little worn.

Shan was nice enough to buy me some Bumblebee print Converse AllStars.

The Bee logo on the side is just such a nice touch !

With that pair of shoes Shan bought for me, i realized that they would be hard to keep clean, so i would only wear them on special occasions.

Eventually i caved in and bought a pair of Tommy Hilfiger shoes... on sale of course :P

Rainy Days

Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 11:09 PM

Winter time !!

yep, today is June 8th, the 8th day into winter.

here in Melbourne, winter time is a season that lasts for about 6 months LOL.

Hotpot, drinking a lot of tea, wearing ultra warm clothes, not going outside of the house or work... THAT is what its all about, here in our WONDERFUL city (I haven't yet decided if i am being sarcastic or not).

Nintendo Center Melbourne

at 4:25 AM

Not too long ago Shan and i were walking along Swanston street in our city CBD and we stumbled along a rather fun building.

Melbourne's Nintendo building is very small and has very few interesting attractions compared to any of the Nintendo Centers in Tokyo area, but still it was a pretty fun novelty to see.

The Nintendo Center is located above the Swanston street EB Games store, I reccomend you visit it if you love Nintendo DS and Wii, as Shan and myself do!

Song of the month

Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 7:31 PM

Wow... I'm still in awe of how amazing this song is...

What song am i talking about ??

Well i went on to youtube, recommended videos for me shown a video of Edison Chen dancing hip hop and, as much as i really like Chen Guan Xi, he looked like a massive tool !!

Suddenly i started thinking about how Chen did a song with M-flo and Ryohei.

Next thing, i started searching M-Flo.

The result shown a song i previously never noticed (despite being a big M-Flo fan).

M-Flo did a song with Melody and also Ryohei.

I really enjoy Ryohei's relaxed voice and same with Melody, so i just HAD to click the link.

Since then, i have been listening to the song NON STOP as i write this blog.

Please enjoy

M-flo loves Melody. & Ryohei / miss you

我要开我的AE八六

Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 12:26 AM

我 要 开 我 的 AE 八 六

wo yao kai wo de A-E baa liu !! lol

fix one of the MR2's age related problems, and another arises.

after fixing the exhaust leak (i think its the 5th problem in the last 3 months) the latest problem happens less than a week after.

actually the night i fixed the exhaust leak, driving to the city the spot weld that holds the Air Flow Meter adapter to the body broken, resulting in the engine shutting down as it couldnt measure air and fuel. Luckily I was able to make a tempory fix for the night and continue along my way.

Then a couple of days later i fixed the problem so that it can NEVER occur again.

now, back to the topic at hand, the latest problem.... Oil pressure guage stopped working !! damn, now i cant check the oil pressure as i am driving along.

A pretty bad thing on a car that has had this many problems I think. Despite knowing the engine is working fine, I am super paranoid to drive the MR2 now.

I just want my ae86 back.... apparently 3 or so more weeks.... mada mada (japanese for "a little longer")
